HUB Certification is for Texas Historically Underutilized Businesses

Hub is defined as a business or organization under the laws of the State of Texas in which at least 51 percent is owned and operated or controlled by American Woman, Native Americans, Asian Pacific Americans, Hispanic Americans and Black Americans whom are economically disadvantaged and or have been historically underutilized because of their identification as members of these groups.

As a business owner you must complete a HUB Certification application  and submit it to the CPA. If approved your HUB Certification is effective for four years. Eligibilty requires that businesses have their principle place of business located in Texas where the HUB owner makes decisions and controls the day to day operations. Owners must be residences of the State Of Texas.
