3. Rotting Wood: Old tree stumps or perhaps excess wood from a project laying around can create fuel for termites that may eventually spill over into your home. Make sure to remove these items from your yard.
4. Mulch: While mulch is often times used in close proximity to your homes foundation, be sure to keep an eye out for signs of termites. Mulch provides the fuel and moisture that they are attracted to making it the perfect spot for an infestation to begin.
